I am so excited to announce that the McLean and Tircuit Boutique is now open!

The grand opening event in May was a huge success, and I was so happy to welcome more than 70 people to the space.

Home & Design Magazine even wrote a piece about the boutique opening in their July/August 2022 edition.

One of my favorite pieces in the boutique is this sheep sculpture from Interlude Home, and apparently, Kris Jenner has one in her house too! We think our sheep needs a name – what do you think we should call him/her? At the beginning of the pandemic, many of us suddenly needed fully-equipped home offices because of the amount of COVID cases jeopardizing our lives. As the number of cases has decreased over the last year, more people are having to go back to the office but still want the comfort of their home office. They can’t bring their house slippers or their robes, but the latest trend in interiors is making your office feel more warm, comfortable, and even a bit residential. Here’s a sneak peek of a CEO’s office I am designing in Annapolis, MD. The entire suite of offices will be personalized for each employee’s tastes and comfort.

MARKET REVIEW

In April, I went to North Carolina for High Point Market. If you’re not familiar, High Point Market is where thousands of designers and retailers come together twice a year to inspect and purchase new lines in home furnishings.

I saw color everywhere this year, which I love! A great way to bring color into a space is by using pillows, and it’s also an easy way to mix colors, patterns, and textures in a room. Pillows can completely change the look of a room....and you can buy some in the store...

I also saw a lot of pretty, soft spaces at High Point this spring. Brass is also very popular in everything – from furniture to décor.
